The Vex Server Council

Server has been chosen we will be playing on GATE OF MADNESS


Ok guys anyone who gives a shit about the Vex server needs to state their intentions to help us find a server over the next few weeks.
I want everyone who knows anything about servers to speak up tell us the good and bad of everything and debate EVERYTHING

The current choices. Red names are not being considered (if you have a reason we should consider these let me know)White names have priority in discussions atm and are more likely to be chosen.
Anvil Rock seems very under populated.
Blackgate
Borlis Pass reasons: low population.
Crystal Desert reasons: Team Legacy will be on this server High population
Darkhaven reasons: full of ze douchebags
Ehmry Bay reasons: low population
Fort Aspenwood Reasons: Kindria is inlove with this place... medium population.
Gate of Madness Reasons: sinister swarm is here good solid yet not douchey guild. medium population.
Henge of Denravi
Isle of Janthir reasons: secondary oceanic server. Medium population.
Jade Quarry Reasons: high population
Maguuma reasons: medium population.
Sanctum of Rall reasons: low population
Sea of Sorrows reasons: primary unofficial oceanic. medium population.
Sorrow's Furnace reasons: VexX Gaming is apparently choosing this server. High Population
Stormbluff Isle
Tarnished Coast reasons: unofficial RP server (ewwwwwww) High population
Yak's Bend reasons: gw2guru. Medium population.

Lets try and red out a few more names. If there are any above names that deserve a definate NO or should get the White name of greatness post your reasons please!!! since arenanet enjoy fucking with the server list this time we will choose a first choice second choice and third choice.

My Opinions.
Not Darkhaven-
It has an awesome community as testified by one vexian but is extremely overpopulated .. and well everyone knows why it's a bad choice.. all the small kids and trolls who think dark haven is a kool name so they chose it. and so these not nice people would band together to make guilds, which will just sadden me.

Not Crystal Desert-
Because i just recently found out that Team Legacy is planning to go on there .
if you don't know. they are Goliath. and we are David. Extremely popular. very organized and structered. and hell even the A-net devs watch their show..
so if i had teh chance. i wouldn't go against them. im just being realistic.
oh wait, we wouldnt be going against them.. we'd be with them. even worse because we wouldnt get a chance to make a name for ourselves.

I reckon we need a final list of servers released from A-net. before we can have serious discussion and debate.

yeah agree completely with everything Tiger said.

I guess it would be hard to make a name for ourselves if they are that good..

but also like tiger said.. we dont even know what servers have been cut/added..

is this leaving us with Fort Aspenwood? .. KIndria will be happy lol

I think when we make a decision on a server we should actually post it on the Eternal Grove fb page.. with the reasons why etc and why we aren't choosing Crystal Desert (lots of EG's went to the CD').. so its a kind of "come with us" post lol

I am in agreeance that so far I like Gate of Madness and Fort Aspenwood.

lets see if the server council can spam their little networking fingers out and find anything really bad about these two servers.. and anything good as well.

so far I kno9w sinister swarm will be on gates of madness. they are a big 12 year old guild but they look solid well managed and not a in your fucking face kind of guild

I actually put vex up on that website. It is still waiting to be checked by a moderator and accepted. Server is written as undecided for the time but it will be a great guild recruitment tool for later

I am also in Sinister Swarm and they are super friendly people, just like Vex they try to be the best but still keeping the casual, family friend type of environment also a very big guild

if we both end up going on the same server.. i see an alliance somewhere

Dragonbrand - Does sound cool but we all know what cool names mean :/
Ferguson's Crossing - sounds pretty meh.. i don't think many will flock there for its name at launch anyway
Quarrel Falls - does sound pretty cool again but we don't know anything about these places so this is all just by name base.

i think most guilds have made up their minds so these three will be quite low population. DragonBrand sounds okish so it might get a few more there is no way in hell im playing on fergusons crossing... Ferguson.. honestly.. that's going to be the server everyone laughs at.

Quarrel Falls has a nice feel about it .. not boring not over the top but at such a late entry will it be popular enough to not suck?

gate of madness sounds pretty fun, but I'm not really sure which new servers are gonna pick up players so idk...

Gate of Madness

This decision is subject to change due to there being no official launch server list provided. As is there are 3 new servers that have recently come out that maybe available for launch but there is nothing official stated.

If Gate ends up being over populated we will reassess our situation. Final Guild Meeting on Server choice to be held Tuesday 21st of August at 7pm.

i think everyone will move to the new servers and they will b over populated or something like that so they can be the top dog on there but yes from all that i know of we are set to be on gate of madness.

Hey lighter, i beleive Kindira is hurt that you left. me, i dont mind at all man, be good to see you on the server if thats where we land and alliance with your lot. But if we dont and we come up against you in WvWvW then ill be pretty much targetting you constantly.

I would kind of like the opportunity to have enemy guilds that we are still friends with lol. I don't want to hate them unless they are douchebags.. i hope they disable world to world chat in wvwvw
